SCR Altach won the Handspiel-Match against SV Ried 2-0. The Vorarlbergers secured important three points in the fight for the BL-Europacup-Play-off semi-finals. Patrick Greil scored the opener and secured his twelfth goal of the season. The guests from the Innviertel had already stood as group winners before the game and had secured their place in the BL-Europacup-Play-off semi-finals. SCR Altach coach Maximilian Senft rotated seven regular players out of the starting lineup. The Altachers found it difficult to get into the game, but after 13 minutes they had their first scoring chance. Vesel Demaku was set up on the right by Massombo, kept his overview and served SCRA top scorer Patrick Greil on the edge of the penalty area. But the shot from the 29-year-old Salzburger was blocked by Srđan Hrstić and thus a teammate in the long corner. Keeper Andreas Leitner would have been powerless in his 100th game for the Rieder. SCR Altach continued to put pressure on in the second half and scored the 2-0. The Rieder had no chance and lost the game 0-2. SCR Altach remains in the fight for the BL-Europacup-Play-off semi-finals
