The SCR Altach has been embroiled in a scandal involving a former sports chief. The man secretly filmed female players in the locker room. Investigators discovered the recordings on his computer. 30 players were identified. The former sports chief was in office since 2019. He was known as "the girl for everything" and performed handyman tasks on the campus. "He was always there and invested a lot", recalls Lena Rädler, who played for two years in Altach. For many years, he secretly filmed female players, including minors, with a hidden smartphone camera in the locker room or through keyholes. In the fall of 2025, investigators almost stumbled upon him by chance. They were actually searching his computer for illegal pornographic content. They found not only corresponding video material from the Darknet, but also the secretly recorded footage from the Altach locker room. The SCR Altach learned in October 2025 the name of the accused. The club immediately imposed a "comprehensive ban" on all club premises for the potential perpetrator. On the instructions of the police and due to tactical considerations, the players and their parents were only informed about the incidents a few weeks later.
